The Chairman, House Committee on Youth and Sports, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Yusuf Adebisi, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Kola Ladapo, fondly known as “Mr. Nice Guy,” a creative and vibrant presenter with Lagelu FM, Ibadan.
In a condolence message released personally signed on behalf of the Oyo Assembly Committee on Youth and Sports through Honourable Adebisi described the late Kola Ladapo as a young Nigerian who distinguished himself through dedication, professionalism, and selfless service to the broadcasting industry and the youth community.
He noted that the demise of the talented presenter is a painful loss not only to Lagelu FM but also to the media family and the entire youth population in Oyo State, stressing that it is saddening to lose a promising youth at the prime of life.
Honourable Adebisi extended his heartfelt condolences to the Chairman, management, staff, and listeners of Lagelu FM, as well as the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He urged young people to continue to uphold the values of dedication, humility, and service to humanity which the late “Mr. Nice Guy” exemplified during his lifetime, adding that his positive impact and contributions to the station will be fondly remembered.
The Youth and Sports Committee Chairman also prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of Kola Ladapo and comfort for all those mourning his passing.
