Tolani: You Are Better in The Kitchen Than Holding A Public Office - Liberation Movement

The Liberation  Movement of Ibadan Southwest 1 have berate the APC candidate contesting House of Assembly election in Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 over her unguarded statements on the person of Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi the incumbent Member of the State House of Assembly on a  popular radio program this morning in Ibadan.


According to a statement issued by the coordinator of the group,Musibau Akinwale shortly after today's program that Oladeni Adebisi have written his name in Gold while Tolani Adigun is a frustrated politician who should by now withdraw and be responsible in home front of ideas and has no moral right to cast aspersions on another candidate instead of telling the people what she want to offer the constituents.


" We condemned in all sense of humility the attack on the personality of our candidate, Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi by House of Assembly APC candidate in Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 who disrespect, rude and abuse Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi office as the number 7 in the Oyo State House of Assembly and his person"


"This is not the first time Tolani will be attacking the personality of Hon Yusuf and we think enough is enough, we believe our people need a candidate that is patient with moral and impeccable character which Tolani Adigun of APC lack and it is high time she learn to respect whoever God chooses as a leader". 


Musiliu added that, APC candidate Tolani Adigun would have explained to the public what she have to offer and not to attack any personality while Hon. Yusuf Adebisi give evidences of his achievements in the area of health, Security, Light up project to all nooks and crannies within the constituency, water projects, empowerment Programs  for over 150 youths on different skills acquisition ,bills to enhance the youth development among others.


"if Tolani have impeccable character she wouldn't have exchange three different political parties within the space of time she returned from United Kingdom few years ago" Musiliu added.


The Liberation Movement added that Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 should rally support for the incumbent member , Hon Yusuf Adebisi who is transforming the social economy, security and human capacity development in the Constituency instead of liars, deceitful and uncontrollable, impatient character like Tolani Adigun.


While thanking His Excellency, Gov Seyi Makinde for his benevolence to have grant the wish of Ibadan Southwest State constituency 1 to re present Hon Yusuf Adebisi while praying for the success of the people's Governor and Yusuf Adebisi beyond 2023.

CHRISTMAS 2022: OONI SPLASHES SCHOLARSHIP ON 50 STUDENTS AS OONI THROWS PARTY FOR IFE CHILDREN

The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II on Tuesday awarded scholarships to 50 students in Ile-Ife, in celebration of the 2022 Christmas festival. 


 In a release signed by Director of Media and Public Affairs to Ooni's palace Otunba Moses Olafare. While receiving the children who are students of primary and secondary schools, as well as Schools for persons with Special Needs at his ancient Ile Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife, Ooni Ogunwusi urged the kids to pick only from good mentors in the society.


Speaking through his amiable queen, Olori Temitope Adesegun-Ogunwusi, who doubles as CEO of the Ooni's NGO; Hopes Alive Initiatives (HAI), the Ooni urged the children to remain focused in their education, imbibe the spirit of hardwork and look up to good people with impeccably virtuous character as mentors and role models. 

 "While you listen to music, watch movies and socialize, pick from what is good only. Do not imbibe bad habits because such is capable of destroying you and your purpose in life.

 "Kabiyesi cannot wait to hear and celebrate your success stories in the nearest future, so he is urging you to be right and do right at all times.

 "To our daddies and mummies here present, we need to train these children to have the fear of God. When a child fears God, he/she will be diligent, hardworking, obedient to their parents and on every other people that they come in contact with." Queen Temmy said. 

 In the same vein, wife of the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Mrs. Olusola Adewusi, described Christmas season as a special moment of reflection on one's purpose in life and exclusive moment of praise to the Most High God.

She said, "Like the queen just mentioned, let us learn from the good life and time of our Lord Jesus Christ and reflect this always. Be good children at home, school and everywhere you go.

Peak of the event was the cultural and academic presentation by the children, during which lucky 50 of them were selected and awarded scholarships. Those selected who are students of secondary and primary schools in Ile-Ife as well as those from School for Students with Special Needs. T

The beautiful event was packaged by Hopes Alive Initiative (HAI) and supported by Propertymart lead sponsor, Indomie Instant Noodles, Stanbic IBTC and Ijebu lawa.

OYHA Vice Chairman House Committee on Sports, Adebisi Congratulate 3SC Over NPFL Pre-Season Cup


Vice Chairman House Committee on Youth and Sports in Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi have  congratulated the Shooting Stars of Ibadan popularly known as Oluyole Warriors for winning the NPFL pre-season tournament tagged the Dozy Mmobuosi Cup.

3SC defeated Enyimba of Aba 3- 2 to win the super four competition held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

In a statement issued through his Media aide Prince Tope Eluyefa, Hon. Adebisi said,  “I congratulate the organisers for putting up a quality tournament where the winner is taking home N100 million, second placed team N75 million and the third-placed N50 million. This is quite remarkable and commendable and I am glad that we are beginning to get it right as far as the league is concerned in Nigeria".

“This Super Four signifies what is expected in the league. I want to charge the team, Oluyole Warriors to do more to keep it up and also advised the organisers to kindly give the subsequent tournament a better coverage on T.V stations”.

Hon. Adebisi hailed the excellent performance of the Ibadan soccer lords in winning the final tie against Enyimba at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Anthony Okachi’s 87th-minute goal gave the Oluyole Warriors the win as the team came back twice through goals by Malomo Taofeek and Kelly Kester’ to beat the People’s Elephants.
