PURSUE YOUR DREAMS VIGOROUSLY, OONI CHARGES NIGERIAN YOUTH.

Arole Oodua, His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi(Ojaja II) Ooni of Ife again on Saturday dedicated his appointment as Chancellor of University of Nigeria, Nsukka to the entire Nigerian youth and urged them to leave no stone unturned in the vigorous pursuance of their dreams. Ooni Ogunwusi gave this advice during his former installation ceremony as the chancellor of the prestigious University at the University campus, Nsukka in Enugu state in to mark of the school's 45th convocation. "it's now a reality by virtue of what happened here today, I want to challenge all my fellow youths to pursue their dreams vigorously and with God on your side, you will all attain all your goals. If you do things in a forthright manner, your efforts will not go in vain for God himself will continually bless you" Ooni said. He also promised to represent youths across the country and assured them of his unflinching support needed to enhance their formidable force so that they can adequately make contributions to the greatness of Nigeria. "We must be good example of our household, community and our country Nigeria. Let us come together in peace, I promise to support the youths beginning from Nsukka here in achieving their dream as well as to improve them to become a formidable force towards making Nigerian a great nation and I will not fail in the discharge of my duties as the Chancellor" Ooni promised. President Mohammadu Buhari at the occasion congratulated the new Chancellor and expressed his confidence in the revered monarch's ability to bring his wealth of experience in human and resource management to bear in UNN. Represented by the Minister of State for Education, Professor Anthony Gozie Anuka, president Buhari wished Ooni a successful tenure as Chancellor of University of Nigeria Nsukka. Other eminent Nigerians awarded honourary doctorate degrees alongside Ooni Ogunwusi include the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe, Former Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Coomassie, business guru, Prince Arthur Eze, Justice Justice Eze Ozobu and Ambassador Godwin Alaoma, while a Professor of Fine and Applied Arts Professor Ola Oloidi and 18 other Professors were also honoured as Professor Emeritus. On the entourage of Arole Oodua were HRM, Alayemore of Ido-Osun, HRM, Alaagba of Aagba, HRM, Onigbaye of Igbaye, HRH, Elejesi of Ejesi, HRH, Obaloran of Ife, HRH, Jaaran of Ife, HRH, Arode of Ife, professor Jeleel Ojuade, Chief Funmilola Olorunnisola, Mr Akin Daodu, Mr Jide Fadairo, Mr Yinka Olojede Mr Muyiwa Afolabi Dr Ayoade Adewopo, National Publicity Secretary of CDHR, comrade Raji Ropo Rasheed(Triple R) and many others.

It was a night of fun and excitement in the state capital of Ondo state,  Akure where thousands as thronged out to catch a glimpse at the 84th edition of the monthly vigil tagged “A Covenant Time With God".
The event was a special edition as it was in commemoration of the state 40th anniversary and 7th year anniversary of the Olusegun Mimiko led Administration, held at the newly constructed magnificient International Event Center, Akure.
The event witnessed different rendition, songs from mass choir and dance drama, exhortation, thanksgiving and many other interesting side attractions.
The night of wonder and thanksgiving was ignite when the poplar gospel singer ,Lady Evan.Bola Are mount the stage  and first blow a trumpet made of  tusk and well carved artifact seven times to commemorate the 7th year in office of Segun Mimiko led administration of victory and promise fulfilled as it was done in the days of Israelites.
The event which is the initiative of Her Excellency, Kemi Mimiko, the wife of the executive governor of Ondo state who was full of praise and excitement, expresses his happiness, saying God has been faithful to the family and the state
However, the Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko  cautioned the people of the state not to be carried away by the propaganda from the oppositions but continue to identify with the good government has positively transformed the  state  from a mere province to the place of pride.

He  said, ‘We have recorded  remarkable successes in all sectors and we will continue to work  until all our youth  are fully engaged in wealth and job creation , until every child have access to good and qualitative health and education in the state, until  we build  infrastructure to a level  that will make life more easier and better for all and sundry in Ondo state”. 

Dr Mimiko while speaking at the 84th  edition of    Divine Agenda praise night  at the International Event Centre on Friday said further that “my successor will be a man that will have the heart of people, in governance you need the physical and spiritual heart to succeed, I am praying to God for a good successor that will continue to make people happy with good governance
  The  special divine agenda praise night  was attended by the former Senator Iyiola Omisore, the gubernatorial candidate in the last governorship election in Osun state, Kayode Alufa, Hon Commissioners, Special assistants family friends  captains of Industry,  senior  civil servants  traditional rulers and people from all walks of life fill the over 4,000 capacity hall to the brim.
