As the year 2025 gradually winds down, Ogbomoso born philanthropist and season politician, Honourable Micheal Adewale Samson (MAS) has called on residents of Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and the entire Ogbomosoland to remain law-abiding, peaceful and security conscious during the festive period and beyond.
In a year-end message made available to the press, emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in sustaining peace and order in the ancient town, particularly at a time when social activities are heightened due to end-of-year celebrations.
Hon. Samson urged parents, youths and community leaders to be vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by reporting suspicious movements, noting that security is a shared responsibility that requires the active participation of all stakeholders.
He also encouraged the people of Ogbomosoland to commit the town into prayers, stressing that divine guidance and unity remain key to the continuous growth, development and prosperity of the land.
While extending his goodwill messages, Honourable Samson conveyed his compliments of the season to the Soun of Ogbomoso, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Afolabi Olaoye Ghandi, describing the monarch as a symbol of peace and stability. He equally wished Alhaja Mulikat Adeola, political leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders and other critical stakeholders in Ogbomosoland a joyful festive season.
He prayed for good health, renewed strength and wisdom for all leaders and residents, while expressing optimism that the coming year, 2026, will usher in greater progress, peace and socio-economic advancement for Ogbomoso and its people.
Hon. Samson concluded by wishing the entire people of Ogbomosoland a prosperous and fulfilling New Year.
