Renowned Fuji maestro and business entrepreneur, Taye Akande Adebisi, popularly known as Taye Currency, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of one of Splash/Lagelu FM’s creative and talented presenters, Kola Ladapo, fondly called “Mr. Nice Guy.”
In a condolence message made available to the press, Taye Currency described the late broadcaster as a consummate professional whose voice, creativity and warmth endeared him to listeners across Ibadan and beyond. He noted that Kola Ladapo’s contributions to the growth and popularity of Splash/Lagelu FM would remain indelible in the history of the station.
According to Taye Currency, the sudden loss is not only painful to the immediate family of the deceased but also a huge blow to the broadcast industry in Oyo State, particularly the Splash/Lagelu FM family where Mr. Nice Guy served with passion and dedication.
The Fuji star and founder of Currency FM extended his heartfelt condolences to the Chairman, management and entire staff of Splash/Lagelu FM, Ibadan, urging them to take solace in the impactful life and professional legacy left behind by the late presenter.
Taye Currency prayed that Almighty God grants the soul of Kola Ladapo eternal rest and gives his family, colleagues and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. He added that Mr. Nice Guy would be greatly missed by fans, colleagues and the media community at large.
