LAND OWNERSHIP CRISIS: ASHAMU DEBUNKS RUMOUR OF ENROACHMENT AND VICTIMIZATION



Mr. Samuel Ishola Ashamu has debunk the rumour going round in the media that he has been victimizing and terrorizing the residence of Saku Village and his environs. In Ido Local Governemnt of Oyo State.
Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, Mr. Ishola Ashamu said that contrary to the rumour making round that he, Mr. Ishola Ashamu has been formenting trouble in Saku Village and his environs is a big lie and there is no iota of truth in what Mr. Femi Baale has
been saying in the Newspaper.
Mr. Ashamu maintained that the land belong to his late father Mr. Emmanuel Oyeleye Ashamu who is an international man that deals with lands and properties. He said the land has been sold to his father in
the late seventies and that he has viable documents that back it up that the land in Saku Village truly belongs to the Ashamu family.
He further stated that, he did not encroach on anybody’s lands or properties saying that it is just some people who are enemies of progress that are trying to mileage his name. He said that there is not a single demolition in Saku Village up till this moment because all what they are doing is just clearing of bushes in the village.
He also said that, the case of Saku Village is a clear case because he has the original and authentic document of the land so anybody that has anything to approach the court of law for justice saying he is a peace and law abiding citizen of Nigeria.
According to Mr. Ashamu it is better for the people of Saku Village to cooperative with him because he wants to bring development to the land. In his words, the family of Ashamu has tender the original and
the authentic document to the police. He also called on security agencies in Oyo State to disregard Femi Baale’s claim.
Mr. Ishola Ashamu also thank the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State CP Leye Oyebade for not compromising standard and for making sure that the truth prevails.
