FATHER’S DAY MESSAGE: OONI URGES THE WORLD TO RELY ON GOD IN TRYING TIME;



His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi(Ojaja II) has urged Nigerians to have trust only in God as the true father of all nations. He made the call at the this year Fathers Day anniversary yesterday at the Redeemed  Christian Church of God(RCGG) Jesus House in Washington DC accompanied by his beautiful queen,Yeyelua Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi to worship the Almighty God.



Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi explained that he is a living testimony to God’s love and care.
"Thank you so much for this warm reception for me and my people here today. I will always work for the masses and I shall never hesitate to continue exhorting the Almighty God who has been my only strength. He is the only king of kings and my creator who has done numerous unforgettable positive wonders in my life. Yes, today is the fathers day but God is the one we all should be celebrating today because he is the only father of all fathers who does not eat our food or drink our wine, the only thing he expects from us is exhortations and we must not fail in giving it to him always". He said.


 His Imperial Majesty expressed delights over the reception accorded him and his entourage. He promised to continue to work for the massses and always exhort God as the only king of kings who not only created him but has also done several unforgettable positive wonders in his life.
Ooni Ogunwusi also charged the congregation to always place God first in all their endeavors to be successful in life as God does not fail anybody that believes in him and climaxed his speech with a praise song joined by the the congregation in singing
"I have a father that will never ever fail me, I have a father that will never ever fail me, Jesus is the father that will never ever fail me, Rock of Ages never ever fails". Ooni sang.

The Senior Pastor of the church Pastor Ghandi Olaoye while welcoming  the monarch and his about 60 entourage earlier in his speech described the revered monarch as an ambassador of peace and harmony who is well loved by the people around the world. He also attributed his success so far recorded to his humility and dedication to the Almighty God who he has always referred to as king of kings.

"Kabiyesi you are man of peace and harmony. You have so far done very well as a king who loves the massses and loved by the people around the world. Your outstanding success within this short time on the throne of your forefathers is as a result of your humility and dedication to God who you have always called the kings of kings".

The elated Pastor called the royal presence at the church  a historic one that will remain indelible in the minds of the church members and divinely designed to coincide with the globally celebrated fathers day. He therefore asked him to celebrate the father’s day with the church as the overall father of Yoruba nation.
"Your Majesty, your presence in our our midst today is a divine one for today is the fathers day and we hope you will represent all the father's back home here as the overall father of Yoruba nation. This is very historic and am sure it will remain indelible in the minds of the entire church members". Pastor Olaoye said.


On the entourage of the Arole Oodua to the church were his some notable Yoruba kings to include the Orangun of Ila HRM Oba Wahab Adedotun(Bibiire 1), Ajero of Ijero Oba Adewole Joseph, Olubaka of Oka-Akoko Oba Yusuf Adeleye, HRM Olufon of Ifon Oba Al-Moroof Magbagbeola, HRM Oba Elerinmon of Erinmo Oba Ajayi Micheal, HRM Alaraoodaye of Ara-Ife Oba Segun Layade and HRM Regent Adebusola Oluwatuyi of Isolo kingdom.

The kingmakers are HRH Oba Saka Olawusi the Obaloran of Ilode, Highchiefs Adekola Adeyeye Jaaran of Ife, Highchief Akinropo Zaccheus Waasin of Ife and Jimo Awe , Arode of Ife. Other members of the entourage were his elder brother Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi, Princesses Folasade Ogunwusi Fadairo, Adesola Ogunwusi Olojede and Adebimpe Ogunwusi Daodu, the OAU's PRO Mr Biodun Olanrewaju and wife Omolara, Professor Jeleel Ojuade, Barrister Lanre Alli, Barrister Wale Ojo, Dr Makinwa Adereti, Dr(Mrs) Remi Duyile and Coordinator of the Oodua Economic Leadership/Transformation Summit Mrs Pemi Folarin, Prince Ayotunde Isadipe, Mrs Alake Eyinade Adelekan, Ace broadcaster Modele Sarafa-Yusuf, Tunde Alabi Hundeyin(Dudu Productions), Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade, Idowu Salami(Traditional Secretary), Oriowo Oyeyemi(Sarun Oodua) Moses Olafare(Media), Kolawole Emmanuel(CSO) and a host of others.
