ACHI Felicitates Muslims, Reaffirms Commitment to Healthcare and Humanitarian Services Across Oyo State

The Abiodun Community Health Initiative has extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and beyond as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival, urging citizens to embrace peace, love, sacrifice, and unity which the sacred celebration represents.


In a goodwill message released, the management of the NGO congratulated Muslim faithful for witnessing another Sallah celebration in good health and prosperity, while also calling on Nigerians to continue praying for peace, progress, and sustainable development in the country.

The organisation noted that Eid-el-Kabir remains a period of reflection, compassion, and support for humanity, stressing that the values of sacrifice and kindness should be extended to the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.

According to the statement, the NGO remains committed to improving the welfare of residents through impactful interventions in healthcare delivery, clean water supply, and humanitarian services across communities in Oyo State.

The Initiative further reassured Nigerians that it would continue to expand its humanitarian outreach and health intervention programmes across all the 33 local government areas of Oyo State, with renewed determination to support underserved communities.

“We felicitate with all Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir and pray that this celebration brings peace, joy, and abundant blessings to every home. As an organisation dedicated to humanity, we remain resolute in our commitment to quality healthcare delivery, water support projects, and humanitarian services for the people,” the statement read.

The NGO also emphasized the importance of accessible and affordable healthcare services, promising to continue collaborating with stakeholders, health professionals, and community leaders to ensure better, adequate, and sound healthcare delivery for the people of Oyo State.

The organisation added that despite prevailing economic challenges, it would not relent in its mission to improve the living conditions of vulnerable citizens through community-based interventions and health support initiatives.

The statement concluded by encouraging Nigerians to continue promoting religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and collective responsibility towards nation-building during and after the Sallah celebration.
