Oluwo Set to distribute 1billion naira Worth Of Medical Equipment

Oluwo of Iwo Empire, Emperor Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu 1 has disclosed exclusively to cityinfo190 one of the best sets state of the art medical equipment worth over 1 billion naira is expecting will arrive the shore of Nigeria anytime from today.

Showing the waybill and other papers to clear the equipments at his palace to the cityinfo190, the revered mornach, Oluwo of Iwo Empire, Emperor Abdul Rasheed Akanbi said the sets of medical equipment will be first of its kind in the history of States governement hospitals in Nigeria.

Oba Abdul Rasheed said the medical equipments will be donated to the Govt. State hospital in Iwo in Iwo Local Govt., of Osun State.


Emperor Abdul Rasheed Adekunle Akanbi also disclosed that his many laudable projects for Iwoland will soon be manifesting, saying that the food and cloth bank which has taken off since is overwhelming.

" To the glory of Allah we distribute free foods here on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays to cushion the effects of economic hardship of our people".

Speaking on his recent dressing circulated on many social media, Emperor Adewale Akanbi said he is only making a statement for others to follow. saying their nothing wrong in putting on what fits someone.

People should not twist this thing, when I put on Jalabia which is an Arabian dress, people will not talk, if i put on lace sew in "Agbada"  style you will not see them talking and is lace a fabric made inNigeria or is it an African cloth? Lil Kesh refuses to renew Olamide's YBNL record contract?

 – Lil Kesh 2-year-contract with Olamide YBNL label has expired
– The Shoki singer has refused to renew his contract
– Lil Kesh is planning to float own label to be called YAGI

It seems it is the season of leaving or dumping of record labels. Lil Kesh is being rumoured to be on his way out of Olamide’s Yahoo Boys No Laptop (YBNL) record label under which he was shot to lime light. Lil Kesh’s contract has allegedly expired with YBNL and the Shoki singer has refused to renew it. The lewd rapper and singer contract was reported to have expired some weeks back and the young singer is yet to renew it. Saraki withdraws application against CCT

Bukola Saraki, the Senate president on Monday, April 25, has withdrawn an application to stall his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT). At the appeal court, Kanu Agabi, the lead counsel to Saraki, who challenged the jurisdiction of the CCT to try his client asked the court to hasten hearing to his appeal. “When your lordship has read such a voluminous motion, it is unfair to say we are withdrawing. But we have to. We want to withdraw the motion. “In the motion, dated April 4, we prayed your lordship to stay proceedings at the CCT pending the hearing of our appeal.

The Director of media to his imperial majesty, Oba Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi has described the last visit to FCT has a huge success.

 He said It was a grand entry into the Capital city of Abuja when Arole Oodua, Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Ogunwusi(Ojaja II) was hosted to a Royal dinner on 28th of March 2016  by Alhaji Bamanga Tukur and later attended  the birthday colloquium of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, 29th March 2016 held  at the International Conference Center also in Abuja.
 On arrival at the airport in company of his his beautiful wife, Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi and a retinue of aides, chiefs and traditional rulers including his Director of Media, Comrade Moses Olafare, Arode of Ife Chief Jimo Awe, HRH Elejesi of Ejesi Oba Babatunde Awosunle, HRH Alapoje of Apoje Oba Ademola Ademiluyi was ushered into a waiting Limousine while two Executive Mercedes Benz, four land cruiser jeeps and a couple of escort patrol conveyed members of his entourage.
 The convoy cruised smoothly into the Transcorp hilton hotel where a crowd of Oduduwa sons and daughters came out in numbers to welcome and pay homage to H.I.M. Arole Oodua was later received  Chairman African Development Group, Alhaji Barmangar Tukur at exactly 7:30pm at his Wuse residence where he hosted his guests to a royal dinner. Bamanga Tukur described Ooni Ogunwusi as a special gift to African continent who will be correctly judged by History for his youth development agenda and his ongoing unity project not only in Yoruba land but also across the Nigeria nation. 


Ooni while thanking his host for the honour done to him charged Nigerian youths to emulate Alhaji Bamanga Tukur who had spent his youthful days very productively to be what he has today become.
 He promised to continue to support the youths who are the hopes of tomorrow. The brief event attended by Hajia Fatima Bamanga Tukur, Senator Grace Bent, Alhaji Dauda Brima former Minister of Education, Chief Amina Temitope Ajayi(mama diaspora), Princess Enna Itodo and others witnessed an exchange of African cultural gifts.

The Paramount ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi (Odundun II) has identified only the people who can trace their origin to Ile-Ife as the true descendants of Oduduwa.
 The paramount ruler made this remark while hosting The Arole Oodua, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi(Ojaja II) who yesterday night paid him a unity visit in his palace at Akure, Ondo state.
 He lauded the new Ooni for his exhortation of God at all times, his dedication to uplifting the youths and his unity train he moves around the country especially among Yoruba Obas. He therefore assured his vistor who he described as his father and that of the entire Oodua nation of his Kingdom's total cooperation as they all originated from Ile-Ife hundreds of years ago.
 "Arole Oodua, we are very glad to receive you today in Akure Kingdom, you are the father of all of us in Yorubaland except those who are not true descendants of Oduduwa. the way you have been exhorting the Almighty God, your dedication to uplift the youth and your train of unity that moves around d country especially Yoruba Obas is indeed very commendable and may God continue to bless you" Deji said. Ooni in his speech expressed delight at the way he was honoured by the king and people of the capital city; he emphasized on peace and unity among the Yoruba people as the only guaranteed key to progress.

 "I am overwhelmed by the love the kabiyesi Deji and good people of Akure have showed to me this night, I have come here for peace, unity and progress of Yorubaland, I have been moving around the country in respect of this because that's simply what we need to move our nation forward" Ooni expressed.
Among the eminent sons and daughters of Akure that joined Deji in hosting the Ooni Ogunwusi include Afenifere Leader Pa Reuben Fasoranti, National Chairman of SDP Chief Olu Falae, Chief Imam of Akure, High Chief Olisa of Akure, A royal son of Akure, Prince Ademola Adegoroye, Anthony General of Ondo State, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede. Ooni Ogunwusi had earlier paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty the Olowo of OWO, Oba Folagbade Olateru-Olagbegi at his palace at Owo who led him to the palace of Oba Ojomo Oluda of Ijebu-Owo from where they all went straight to the commissioning ceremony of Best Western plus Mydas Hotel owned by Prince Rotimi Ibidapo.
 Apart from Olowo of Owo and Ojomo Oluda who arrived the event with Ooni of Ife to commission the first five star hotel in Ondo state, the other Obas and eminent people that graced the occasion include His Royal Majesty the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom Oba Victor Kiladejo, Her Excellency the Deputy Governor of the State of Osun, Otunba(Mrs) Titi Laoye-Tomori, HRM Salu of Edunabon, HRM Elejesi of Ejesi, HRM Asoya of Isoya, HRM Laaroka of Wanikin HRH Arode of Ife, HRH Laadin of Ife, HRH Akogun of Ife, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, former Commissioner for Information in Ondo State Chief Eddie Olafeso and a host of others.

Hon. Akeem Ige leads Lead City SRC To Donate For St. Anne's School, Visits victim of Robbery Attack


The students representative council of Lead city University todsay donatewda writing  boardand other educational materials to St. Anne’s Schools, along Molete, Ibadan.
Speaking at the event the Vice President Lead City University Student Representative Council (SRC) Dapo Durosaro, said the maiden program of the student body sponsor by eminent Nigerian in donating education materials is to serve as motivation and help the students to showcase their talents.
Dapo also noted that the material will also add to value of the school and enhance teaching process of the teachers.
He however described the donor of the materials, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige as a good representative at the state house of assembly who has catch a niche for himself right from his days as Ibadan South East council boss and still supporting students in no measure.
Hon. Akeem Ige ,representing South-East constituency 11 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, said  that the essence of leaning as students is to be expose to modern day learning materials, saying the idea of embarking on a community service for secondary schools in Oyo State is to serve as motivational and help the students to showcase their talents.

 Hon. Akeem Ige also disclosed the State Assembly has set up a committee called Oyo state Educational Trust Fund and passed a bill into law to look into how the #1,000 levy collecting from the students will judiciously used for its purpose which is the development of the education in the state and to be channel to other state use, which he claimed that the executives has promise to handover the money generated so far to the Educational Trust Fund committee.

Also speaking was the principal of the school, Mrs. Otetile appreciate the students of Lead city students representatives council for their selfless service and commitment to improve the education sector of the state with their own gesture.
“What we are expressing today at St. Anne’s school is remarkable from the students by giving out to the society at their own level and the students too are looking up to them as a model which is quite impressive”. She said.

Mrs. Otetile however pray for success and breakthrough in all the students endeavors.

In his vote of thanks, Goodswill Gbehinbo, President Students Representative council (SRC) of the Lead City University, Ibadan expresses joy and appreciation to the school authority for allowing them and to Hon. Ige for his kind gesture.



In a related development, the Hon. Akeem Ige led opthe top management of the school to a hospital where two youth corps members and a night guard were being hopitalised since last night over a robbery attack that took place on the school.

Recalling their ordeal with the armed robbers, both Adeosun  Adeola a graduate of English Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and  Soremekun Timilehin, an English Lingusitics graduate of Redeemer’s University, narrated that the robbers numbering about six (6) came to their room while asleep and started harassing them before they were wounded and matcheted.

While the night guard, Mr Ishola Olaitan also said six members of the gang ambushed him, pinned him down and injured him on his head in is struggle with the robbers but was overpowered and fainted before he was rushed down to the hopitald in the same midnight.

They all thank the honourable member of the state house of assembly, Akeem Ademola Ige for his mild touch and gesture.
