The Deputy Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Youth and Sports, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Abiodun Adekunle Isola Baruwa, popularly known as Barushi, on his appointment as Executive Assistant to the Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs by the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde.
In a congratulatory press statement personally signed and made available to journalists, the lawmaker representing Ibadan South-West State Constituency I described Baruwa's appointment as a well-earned recognition of his unwavering commitment, loyalty and invaluable contributions to the growth of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), its alliance with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and the advancement of grassroots politics across Oyo State.
According to Adebisi, the appointment is a clear testament to Baruwa's years of dedication, perseverance and selfless service to the party and the people, expressing confidence that he would bring his wealth of political experience and administrative competence to bear in his new assignment.
The Deputy Chief Whip described Baruwa as an illustrious son of Ibadan South-West whose humility, patience and steadfastness have earned him the admiration and respect of party faithful, political associates and members of the community.
He further paid glowing tribute to the newly appointed Executive Assistant, describing him as an elder brother, political mentor and a man of exemplary character whose humane disposition, resilience and unwavering commitment to progressive ideals remain worthy of emulation, particularly among the younger generation of politicians in Ibadan South-West Local Government and Oyo State at large.
