As Nigerians across the country commemorate the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary, the Abiodun Health-Care Initiative has extended warm congratulations to citizens while calling for national unity, peace, and collective commitment toward improving healthcare services for all Nigerians.
In a statement issued to mark the celebration, the leadership of the non-governmental organization reaffirmed its dedication to humanitarian services, quality healthcare delivery, and community development, especially among vulnerable and underserved populations.
The organization noted that despite the challenges facing the nation, Nigerians must remain hopeful, united, and committed to building a healthier and stronger country through cooperation, compassion, and support for one another.
According to the statement, the Independence Anniversary serves as a reminder of the need for Nigerians to put national interest above personal differences and work together toward sustainable development, particularly in the health sector where millions still lack access to adequate medical care and essential health services.
The NGO further emphasized that access to quality healthcare remains a fundamental necessity for national growth and urged governments at all levels, private organizations, and stakeholders to intensify efforts toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure, promoting preventive healthcare, and ensuring affordable medical services for citizens.
Abiodun Health-Care Initiative also reiterated its promise to continue fulfilling the aims and objectives of the organization through various intervention programs focused on health awareness, medical outreach, access to clean water, humanitarian support, and community-based healthcare initiatives.
The organization assured Nigerians that it would remain committed to touching lives positively and expanding its impact across communities through partnerships and people-oriented programs.
“As we celebrate Nigeria at 66, we encourage citizens to embrace unity, peace, tolerance, and patriotism. Together, we can build a healthier nation where every individual has access to proper healthcare and humanitarian support,” the statement added.
The NGO prayed for peace, progress, economic stability, and better healthcare opportunities for Nigerians, expressing optimism that the country would overcome its present challenges and achieve greater development in the years ahead.
