Kosofe Lawmaker Kafilat Ogbara Rallies Support for Renewed Hope Agenda at Oba Ketu’s 15th Anniversary

The Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development and Member representing Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, has called on her constituents and Nigerians at large to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the bold and difficult decisions taken by the President are beginning to yield positive results for the nation.

Hon. Ogbara made this known during a press interview at the grand celebration marking the 15-year anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Isiaka Oyero Balogun, the Oba of Ketu.

The federal lawmaker received a heroine’s welcome upon her arrival at the venue, as traditional drummers, cultural troupes, and enthusiastic residents filled the atmosphere with excitement. There was visible joy in the eyes of attendees, who cheered warmly as she made her way into the celebration arena. It was indeed a glorious occasion and a celebration galore, reflecting the deep love and respect the people have for their monarch and leaders.

Speaking with journalists, Hon. Ogbara emphasized that while reforms may be challenging at the onset, the outcomes are gradually transforming the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan; it is a commitment to repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth. The difficult but necessary decisions taken by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are already beginning to bear fruits, and Nigerians are starting to feel the positive impact,” she said.

She urged citizens to remain patient, resilient, and supportive, noting that national transformation requires collective sacrifice and unity of purpose.

The event was further enriched by royal blessings and prayers offered by Oba Isiaka Oyero Balogun and other revered traditional rulers in attendance. The monarch prayed for peace, progress, unity, and continued prosperity in Kosofe, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole. Other kings present also offered prayers for the success of elected leaders and for sustained development across the land.
