Renowned Fuji music star Taye Currency has extended warm greetings and heartfelt prayers to his fans and supporters at home and abroad as Muslims across the world commence the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released to the media, the Fuji icon joined the global Muslim community in welcoming the sacred season, following the official declaration by the Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Nigeria’s foremost Islamic leader, the Sa'ad Abubakar, directing all faithful to begin the Ramadan fast today after the sighting of the crescent moon.
According to the report made available by his Public Relations Officer, Prince Tope Eluyefa, Taye Currency described Ramadan as a divine period of spiritual renewal, deep reflection, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. He urged Muslims to embrace the month with pure intentions, discipline, and sincerity of heart.
The Fuji star highlighted the core teachings of Ramadan, stressing that fasting goes beyond abstaining from food and drink. He noted that the season teaches patience, self-control, humility, love for humanity, and compassion for the less privileged. He further emphasized the importance of prayers (Salat), supplications (Du’a), recitation of the Holy Qur’an, and acts of charity (Zakat and Sadaqah) as key pillars that strengthen faith during the holy month.
Taye Currency also called on his fans to use the Ramadan period to foster peace, unity, and forgiveness within families, communities, and the nation at large. He prayed that Allah accepts the fasts, prayers, and good deeds of all Muslims and rewards them abundantly.
Concluding his message, the celebrated Fuji singer wished his fans a spiritually fulfilling, peaceful, and successful Ramadan, praying for good health, divine protection, and blessings from the beginning to the glorious end of the holy month.
