TRIBUTE TO THE LATE ALHAJI S. OLA AREMU

Alhaji S. Ola Aremu lived a life that proved greatness is defined by character and impact, not academic certificates.

Though not highly educated, he deliberately built himself through hard work, vision, and determination.

His venture into the transport business marked the beginning of a life devoted to success and service.

He was humble, honest, and respectful in all his dealings. A committed philanthropist and community leader, he dedicated his resources and influence to the growth and stability of Iwoland.

A loyal friend to the late Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Asiru Olatunbosun, Alhaji S. Ola Aremu played a significant role in supporting his ascension to the throne, reflecting his deep belief in loyalty, destiny, and service.

He served as the first Chairman of the Iwo Day Celebrations, a member of the 1st and 2nd Iwo Board of Trustees, and personally supported logistics during the 2006 National Population Census—contributing to Iwo’s recognition as the most populous local government in Osun State.

A respected businessman, cashew farmer, leader, and patriot, he left an indelible mark on the political, economic, and social development of Iwoland. His life remains a lasting testament to selfless service and integrity.

Rest in peace, Alhaji S. Ola Aremu. May Allah (SWT) forgive your shortcomings and grant you Al-Jannah Firdaus. Your legacy lives on.
