The host community of Nigerian Navy School, Iresa-Apa in Ogbomosho has felicitated the Nigerian Navy School commandant. The Nigerian Navy promoted the Commandant, Commander Egwurube Evelyn to the rank of Navy Captain.
The promotion released showed that she was among other officers recently elevated. The promotion came at a time the Navy School Iresa Apa is on the side of rapid education promotions in different areas of academics performance within and external exams including competitions across the state.
The host community expressed readiness to support and cooperate with Captain Evelyn in her new role, saying the Iresa Apa and its environment is witnessing total peace in terms of security and protection and the Navy school provide jobs for the host community.
The newly elevated Captain Evelyn was decorated by Captain A.A. Raji, other top Naval officers.
Speaking Captain Evelyn expressed happiness and assured Nigerian Navy of more dedication, improved quality service.
Captain Evelyn Egwurube specifically thank Rear Admiral M.G. Oamen , FOC Western Naval Command for his support for Nigerian Navy Secondary School,Iresa Apa, Ogbomoso and to all command.
She emphasize the need for quality and efficient men in the security service just like Rear Admiral Oamen who believe in diligence, Hardwork and sincerity of purpose.
Also appreciating his colleagues in the service and subordinates especially at the NNSC Ogbomoso for their selfless and support while thanking the friends and well wishes for being there.
It will be recalled that Captain Evelyn Egwurube is one of the top officers that brought numerous changes and elevate the status of the Ogbomosho Navy school in Iresa apa to an enviable position which makes the host community believed her legacies will stand the test of time.
