Adebisi:Hon Olajide Odidiomo 2nd Term Will Enhance More Developments to The Federal Constituency; Seek Re-election For Seyi Makinde on Omituntun 2.0


The young lawmaker representing Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 and also the Deputy Chief Whip of Oyo State House of Assembly who is also seeking re-election , Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi has described the victory of the Rep-elect of Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency, Hon Adedeji Olajide Stanley known as Odidi-Omo as a well deserved victory that will enhanced more progress to the constituency.


In a release signed and made available to journalists through his Media aide, Tope Eluyefa,he congratulate the federal lawmaker on his deserved victory noting that Hon Adedeji performed in his first term in office and given another chance to go the green chamber can only improve the people he represent.

In his words,"Hon. Asedeji Olajide Stanley is a good representation of his people who embarked on various developmental projects on education,human capacity building, infrastructural developments in our public schools, agricultural empowerment, grants and many more just to mention a few".


"Being a federal lawmaker comes with huge responsibility because it covers more than a local government and you must be able to meet up with their demands if not all but satisfactorily to yourself and this I believe my leader have been able to meet up and earned him this position for second term at the green chamber" , he added.

Adebisi however prayed for a successful  tenure as he returns to the green chamber while also call on the people to support his re-election to the Oyo State House of Assembly come March 11 and extend that to all PDP candidate in the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections in Oyo.


Adebisi laid emphasis on re election of the leader of the party in Southwest Nigeria and Oyo State,Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde the incumbent governor of Oyo State whom he described as God sent to elevate the state from Poverty to prosperity and given another chance to serve will be a consolidated achievements.

He advised the good people of the state to troop out and cast their vote for Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde,the incumbent governor of the state and all PDP candidates running for state house of assemblies, saying the February 25 have gone and people should look forward for the remaining election on March 11.

He also extends congratulatory messages to all PDP House of Representatives who got elected in the last election.

NAIRA SWAP DEADLINE: Hon. Yusuf Adebisi Support Extension of Deadline, Calls For Calm Among Youths and To Be Law Abiding


The young lawmaker representing Ibadan Southwest state constituency 1,Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi, have appeal to the youths in the city of Ibadan to embrace peace while going about their peaceful protest on the naira swap deadlines and its shortage. Speaking through his media aide, Temitope Eluyefa, he says conflict resolution is best practice in solving issues especially when a matter as turn to national embarrassment as this.


Adebisi described the decision of the apex bank as  a national embarrassment especially when people do not have access to their funds and suffer for their hard earned money.

" Money redesign is a normal thing accross the globe but their are best practices to it which is time , communication with the public and access or availability of the new notes either in banks, POS or other legal way of withdrawal" He added.

He appeal to the youths to be rest assured that the Supreme court of Nigeria will not be bias in their rulings on the pending matters over the Naira swap and deadline which the Apex court had ruled on earlier that both new and old currency can be a legal tender pending the determination of the law court on the subject matter.


"As a student of law, the law of land is supreme and above any other person, therefore if a particular person or group of people are flouting the Supreme Court order, it shows such people do not respect the rule law and is very unfortunate". Adebisi said.

Meanwhile the Supreme Court on Wednesday 15th of February (today), adjourned hearing on the case involving the naira swap deadline fixed by the Central Bank of Nigeria but advised federal government and other parties before it on the need to align with its interim order to prevent breakdown of law and order.

Meanwhile, the panel led by Justice John Okoro, advised federal government to reduce tension in the country by making cash available.

In his words, “Are we not in this country, bank staff have been jumping fense. We are humans".

“We pray that there will be no break down of law and order,” panel said.



Yusuf Adebisi Re-election Bid Boosted With Endorsement ofBaales, Alfas and Imams In Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1; Received Souvenirs


 The youngest lawmaker in Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi re-election bid was boosted when with the endorsement of Alfas elders within the Constituency.

In his recent door to door campaign and visit to members of his constituency in Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 at Ita Maya and Ita Barika area before visiting the compound heads at Popoyemoja.

All the leaders,elders and group of Alfas jointly express gratitude to the lawmaker for his tremendous achievements so far in the last three going to four years in the area of infrastructure, community social responsibilities and legislative assignment which is yielding results especially in the area of security.


He was advised to extend the amenities to other areas that have not touched in the contituency,while praying for his success in the forthcoming election come March ,2023.

Speaking in response, Honourable Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi thanked the group of Alfas ,elders and Baale's in these communities fir their support and counting him worthy as one of their own, stating that his term in office is purely an elementary experience which he shall complement on it if he is re-elected on March 11,2023.

Honourable Yusuf Adebisi however seek votes for His Excellency Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde and other People's Democratic Party candidates.

In a related development, friends of the young lawmaker, Yusuf Adebisi from from other States have contributed their quota through souvenirs like handbags and posters. The team led by Amos Ado and K Square expressed their joy in supporting the re-election bid of Hon. Yusuf.

"We are supporting him with this little because he is a youth like us and we believe he does not belong to a particular state but it is a pride for all Nigerian youths".

Amos Ado however prayed for the success of his election come March 11 in the name of Almighty Allah.
