Arisekola’s death, a collective loss - Makinde

Engr. Seyi Makinde and one of the leading gubernatorial candidate under the Peoples Democreatic Party in Oyo State has described the late Alh Abdul Azeez Arisekola Alao, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, as an illustrious son of Ibadanland, international businessman, renowned Islamic clergy in Nigeria and a multi-talented orator that not only Nigerians will miss but also the muslim community all over the world.
He made this assertion during his condolence visit to the family of the late bussiness mogul in company with the chairman of Nigeria railway corporation and former PDP chairman, Alhaji Bamanga  Tukur with other top national officers of the party.
In his words, "I have hoped in vain that his death is another rumour, soon to be debunked but as the reality done on me, it became a great shock".
"Indeed, a very great man has just passed away; may God grant members of the immediate family and everyone of us the grace to bear this loss".

the Prelate Emeritus, Methodist Church Nigeria, Dr. Sunday Ola Makinde, has described the death of Aare-Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Azeez Arisekola-Alao, as a collective loss to Nigerians.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the residence of the deceased at Oluwo-Nla, Basorun, Ibadan, on Thursday, Dr. Makinde said the deceased was a tribalised Nigerian who used his stupendous wealth for mankind.
“He was patriotic to the core, a lover of God and humanity.

“I commiserate with the state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, the Sultan of Sokoto, his family and the entire people of Ibadanland,”
