The Youth Summit Africa - Speakers list unveiled
The organizers of the coming Youth Summit have began to
unveil some of the Speakers and Panelists for the epoch making event. A
collection of young, erudite speakers have been shortlisted to ensure
that vital information is passed to the 1,500 participants attending the
event and the more than 20,000 young people that would be watching via
livestreaming platforms in their homes during the event.
The Logistics Manager at In-House Entertainment; Dayo
Oyegbola made this known to journalists via an email to the summit media
partners. He said "we are glad to unveil the list of very dynamic
speakers that would be engaging Africa at the Summit.

Ooni Of Ife Unveils 1ST Air-Conditioned ‘Keke Marwa’ in Nigeria; As THLD Vows To Crash Price Of Petrol/Cooking Gas
The
company's new strategy is the introduction of the technology that
encourages the public to the use of cooking gas to run their vehicles
and machines.
The
statement was given shortly before OOni leaves for Canada during the unveiling of the latest sets
of cars, trucks and tricycles converted from petrol and diesel to
domestic gas, at the Palace of the Ooni in Ile-Ife, Osun State, South
West of Nigeria.
The presentation was done by the Ooni of Ife and witnessed by the media and top government and business heads.
His
Imperial Majesty during the presentation ceremony applauds the zeal
with which THLD Group Head, Mr. Oluwasegun Olajuwan is making towards
revolutionising not just the Nigerian economy but Africa as a whole.
The
Ooni further said that THLD’s innovation is a ray of hope for Nigerians
as the company introduces a cleaner and an environmentally friendly
alternative fuel.
The
Yoruba monarch used the medium to call on transport companies,
government agencies and all Nigerians to embrace this technology to
reduce overhead running cost and save money.
In
a bulletin released on Saturday morning by the engineering firm, the
company stated that “THLD Group powered by STAG Technology is proud to
state that ALL vehicles and machines can now be converted to run on LPG
(cooking gas) which is environmentally friendly and cheaper than
petrol.”
“In
line with our vision of a greater and better Nigeria, our CHAIRMAN
(Ooni of Ife) wishes to admonish all Nigerians to embrace a cleaner and
more environmentally friendly fuel and reduce overdependence on the
popular petrol (PMS) and diesel.”
THLD
listed the benefits of the new technology to include amongst others,
that conversion centres are to be spread nationwide and that all OANDO
Filling stations nationwide will sell Autogas (cooking gas) at a price
cheaper than petrol.
Others
are, that the use of LPC means more distance covered than petrol, that
LPG is cleaner than petrol and diesel, vehicles using the technology can
easily just by just a click of a switch, even while the vehicle is in
motion, move from petrol to diesel and it entails less maintenance cost.
In
addition, THLD Group Head, Mr Oluwasegun Olajuwan said that his company
has brought hope to the Nigerian economy by introducing an alternative
fuel solution which is powered by STAG Technology.
The
Ife monarch, His Imperial Majesty is confident that the use of
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), popularly known as cooking gas to power
vehicles and machines will bring recourse the way of Nigerian
businesses. This is as THLD Group plans, as part of its empowerment
programs, to train Nigerian youths on the use of this technology thereby
creating 1,000 jobs annually.
Dignitaries
and businesses that have benefited from the technology are the Ooni,
whose private SUV was remodelled two months ago, Efex and Chisco
Transport companies.
Present
at the unveiling ceremony of THLD’s OTI SESE TRICYCLE and converted
vehicles were the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology,
represented by DR. A.A Talabi- Director of Technology Acquisition and
Adaptation, National Orientation Agency, represented by a Director, PAN
Nigeria Limited, represented by the Zonal Sales Manager- Mr. Sulaiman A,
HoneyGold Global Resources Nigeria Limited, NATA, represented by its
National Treasurer- Mr. James Sunday Aina AND NATA, Ibadan Chapter.
Others were NATA, Kaduna Chapter represented by its President- Engr. Ibrahim Aliu, Polar Oil and OVH Energy (Oando).
