There is nothing wrong with lesbianism – Popular Ghanaian actress

Juliet Ibrahim, has said she sees nothing wrong with a female who experiences romantic love or sexual attraction with other females.
The humanitarian of Lebanese, Liberian and Ghanaian descent, in a recent chat with Ghanagist revealed that she has only kissed a lady once but has never slept with a woman in her life.
Ibrahim said: “I’m not a lesbian.
“You will be wondering why I’m saying this because people always think I’m a lesbian.
“I always get questions when I play movie roles and stuffs but I’ve only kissed a girl once and that was in a movie and that was because I had to play a role.
“I’ve never been with a lady before.”
Ibrahim, however, see nothing wrong in being a lesbian.
She said: “There is nothing wrong with it.
“You can do your thing if you like it, but I haven’t been with a girl before.”

How Dodo Mayana, Fela's Best Dancer was killed in Lagos

Dodo Mayana, one of the popular dancers of late afro beat musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, is dead.
Mayana was said to have either been knocked down by a hit and run driver in Lagos or mugged to death.
Fela’s son, Femi Kuti, disclosed this on his Twitter handle.
Femi, however, believes more she could have been attacked and dumped at the spot where she was found at Grammar School Bus Stop in Omole area of Lagos State rather than the theory of the hit and run driver.

He said this was because nothing was found on her.
She was said to be on her way home from the African Shrine, where she runs a shop.
The opened the shop after she quit dancing.
After working with Fela until his death, Mayana declared loyalty for Femi and became one of his cage dancers.
On retirement, she took to selling drinks at the African Shrine, which is in Alausa area of Ikeja, Lagos State.
Femi tweeted: “Heard that Dodo who sells outside the Shrine was hit by a car on her way home by Grammar sch. opposite Omole Estate. I’m so sad. Sounds more like Dodo was mugged ‘cos when we got to her, nothing was found on her, no money, no phone. Mehn sad sad sad.
“Dodo was such a nice and friendly person RIP. May those who did this not go free. Unfortunately, our police might never find them. She was mugged they now say most likely she took first chance, killed, dumped by Grammar sch.”

Robbers, again, hit banks in Lagos

Armed robbers on Tuesday morning attacked two banks in Festac Town, Lagos State.
The banks attacked were Diamond Bank and Access Bank.
The attacked banks are located at 4th Avenue in Festac Town.
It was learnt that the armed robbers arrived at the bank by road before the commencement of banking operations at 8am, mingling with customers.
The operation reportedly started at about 9am when the armed robbers blew open the vaults of the banks with dynamites.
They were said to have left before operatives of the Rapid Response Squad got to the scene.
They reportedly escaped by speed boat already at the river bank in the area.
Reports reaching The Eagle Online has it that no one was killed or injured during the operation.
The robbers were, however, said to have escaped with huge amount of money.
The state Police Command is said to be getting set to brief newsmen on the development as at press time.
No fewer than two operations of this nature had taken place in Lagos State before now.
A branch of First City Monument Bank in Lekki was attacked by robbers who escaped by speed boat after killing some people.
So also were two banks hit by armed robbers in Ikorodu area of the state after that.
The robbers also escaped by speed boat.




While Validating the election of Hon Dapo lam Adesina, the three men panel headed by  Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, said the petition lacks merit because the petitioner failed to prove his case sufficiently.

The panel also dismiss the petition against  Hon Olugbemi base on lack of merit and concrete evidence to back the claims.

Hon Dap Lam Adesina said his victory at the tribunal is a further affirmation of God's love and people'support for his candidate and assured that the victoy will spur him to do more for the people of his constituency.

While expressing confidence in the Judiciary sector of the country Hon Dapo Adesina said " we have now began to witness the true change we deserve as a nation and i am optimistic the Buhari led  APC government will trully take Nigeria to a greater height

Tribunal Upheld Two APC lawmakers election in Oyo

The National Assembly election petition tribunal sitting in Ibadan has upheld the election another two All Progressive Congress Federal  lawmaker in Oyo state Hon.Dapo Lam-Adesina and Olusumbo Olugbemi  as winners of March 28 elections held in the state.

Hon Dapo Adesina ,son of a  former governor in the state late Lam Adesina represent Ibadan North East/ South East federal constituency and and Olugbemi is a representative of Oluyole federal constituency

Their election is being challenged by Accord party candidate Hon Gbenga Arole for Ibadan North and South East while Hon. Olugbemi's. Eligibility for the elections was challenged by the Hon Adeagbo of Accord party.

Mercy Johnson Calls Out Her Critics

It’s no news anymore that Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson is expecting her third child. After the news broke many of her fans have castigated her saying she is not observing proper child spacing.

has replied those attacking her saying she is old enough to decide on what is good for her. In her words:

JACKIE CHAN TO VISIT NIGERIA SEPT. 4

The international movie star and Honk Hong born actor Jackie Chan will on September 4 visit Nigeria.

The film director, producer and martial artist and singer will vist Nigeria as a leading screen character in another block buster film set to rock cinemas titled Dragon Blade which was directed by Daniel Lee.

Dragon Blade is the latest work of Jackie Chan which was first release in 2014 in cinemas all over the world and One of the leading entertainment company, Filmone cinemas has acquired the

theatrical rights to exhibit officially in Nigeria cinemas.

According to a release signed by the chief operating officer of Filmone said, “we are pleased to be the distributor of the Dragon Blade and proud to host Jackie come Sept. 4 in Nigeria. He is doing very well even at age sixty, and we are confident that the film will do well at the Box Office”.

Mr.Moses added that those who troop to cinemas to watch Dragon Blades stands to win fantastic prizes.
